You may recall that a vote in our North-most State almost made marijuana legal for public consumption, but the motion didn’t pass. Now, Nevada is trying the same. In 2000, Nevada approved the use of weed for medicinal purposes, and now, there’s a chance that the public will be allowed to own small quantities of the drug.
Given Nevada’s prosperity thanks to gambling, hookers, and alcohol, marijuana might seem like the next logical step. Of course, can you imagine watching stoned gamblers in a casino? They might forget they’re gambling, and favor a nearby restaurant instead.
I’m thinking the food business in Nevada will be voting with two thumbs up.
