It is disappointing to find that Nintendo’s online offering is a future offering, as all I can do with my Wii connected to my home network is download old games. So far, none of the available titles feature online multiplay, and though the Mii creation is fun (albeit gimmicky), registering friend’s Wiis leaves a giant lag-hole before you can send them messages. I thought, given two online Wiis, that cross-registering them would be quick and easy, but it turns out that the systems took hours to register one another. Apparently, this means that mini-Hitler won’t be able to propagate himself as quickly as I anticipated.
