Comments on: Arcane Legions: great idea, questionable execution.

So…any follow-ups on this article? I am particulary interested in the comments on the “blandness” of the historical-fantastic setting: as you, I find the setting uninteresting, but I don’t think it is because of its historical direct inspiration: the Warhammer Fantasy setting is, for the human factions and the “Old World” especially (but also in general) at least as derivative – if not quite as bluntly derivative as Arcane Legions. WHF(B/RP)’s setting is, however, far more interesting to me than Arcane Legions.
