It is an interesting idea that Apple might follow litl in developing an efficient, web-based interface and an app platform. We at litl certainly know we are ahead of the game - we will be releasing an SDK for our app platform (called litl channels) soon. It is difficult to escape the conclusion that cloud-based OSs are the future for most consumer computing. Though we think general purpose OSs may still have a place for a time. We've focused litlOS on home use for that reason, since webapps find their principal uses in leisure at this time: Facebook, Google Docs and Gmail, Flikr and video/radio streams.
